SOFIA ASTROM is a director and writer best known for her animated stop motion music videos BONE DRY, for the world-renowned rock-band Eels and MOONWRAPPED, Richard Edward of Margot & the Nuclear So And So's. Recently Astrom directed the TV pilot for SYFY channels show THE BLACK HOLE written by Michael Waldron (Loki) and Dino Stamatopoulos (Mr.Show). Setin a dive bar in space, it's produced by Starburns Industries (Anomalisa).

Born in Sweden and based in Los Angeles, she is a graduate of the American Film Institute Conservatory and is currently developing content for animated shows.
